GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Gold Chef’s gold leaf for food use is a high quality Italian product, made exclusively with 23k and 24k gold. The gold used comes from responsible sources. The edible gold leaf is biologically inert, has no taste and is so thin that it is not perceptible in contact with the palate.

Used for food use since ancient times, gold leaf is the perfect cut of edible gold for decorating large surfaces of uniform height, such as those of cakes and risottos. Applied whole or cut into sections, gold leaves are ideal for signature pastry and to accompany the creations of great chefs.(*)
